Bodo/Glimt has launched an inclusive football initiative for anyone who wants to stay active. The initiative is open to all, regardless of age or experience. Inclusive football is a welcoming arena where camaraderie, sports enjoyment, and inclusion are strong. Bodo/Glimts community department has already gained extensive experience and achieved great success with other teams in the club. Among other things, Bodo/Glimt has established the star team, which is a football team for children and young people with disabilities and the gate team. The gate team is an arena where people with substance-related and/or mental health challenges get regular routines, meaningful activities, and a sense of mastery. Now it's the turn of inclusive football. Inclusive football is described as an inclusive arena, where camaraderie, sports enjoyment, and inclusion are strong. This is very important, according to Ørjan Berg, who leads Bodo/Glimts community department. – It's the world's most fun game, so it should be a social and great meeting place. Inclusive football is a very kind way to play football. The public health perspective applies to everything related to football, except for our A-teams, perhaps. The initiative is open to all who feel called. To join, you can send an email to orjan@glimt.no or simply attend a training session. The inclusive football team has training on artificial turf outside Aspmyra on Mondays at 09:30. – We're missing one player today, smiles Ørjan Berg. – Runar was supposed to be here, but Monday morning rarely works well for him. Jacob Klette, Arnulf Bendixen, and Ørjan Berg would like to have more teammates to play with on Aspmyra.
