Bodo/Glimt is heading to Slovakia to participate in a special cultural exchange in Trencin. Ørjan Berg, who leads the community department at Bodo/Glimt, is excited to represent the club in this unique tournament. The team, consisting of players from diverse backgrounds, has built a strong bond through football. Joacim Hansen, one of the players, expresses that the trip is about more than just football; it’s an opportunity to feel included and understood. Trond Hansen, known as the team's 'running machine,' looks forward to experiencing the Slovak climate and representing the yellow team in Europe. Participation in the tournament also marks the beginning of a four-year cultural exchange between Bodø and Trencin, funded by EEA grants. Henrik Dagfinrud from Bodø2024 Legacy emphasizes the importance of building relationships through sports. The veterans in Glimtvis, who are part of Bodo/Glimt, see this trip as a highlight in the team's history. Ørjan Berg points out that the values of the street team are the same as those of the men's and women's teams, focusing on development and community.
